How can I purchase on this site?

You can shop on our site in two ways:


It lets you to receive the coffee you want on a regular basis.

Ordinary purchase

It allows you to buy specific products adding to cart those you prefer from those available in the catalog.

You are not allowed to activate a subscription and make an ordinary purchase during the same shopping session.

How much does the service cost?

Membership to Ernani is totally free. Delivery could  be free or paid depending on the purchased products and quantities.

Is there a minimum spending limit?

No, there is limit.

Where can I find the expiration date?

You can find the expiry date on each of the 250 gr or 20 capsules boxes that will be delivered to you.

Is it necessary to register on the site to place my order?

Yes, registration is required, but for such registration we request you only the information necessary to delivery and invoice an order. The password will be provided automatically by the site and if you cancel your registration, you may do so at any time without this prevents the purchase from been concluded. The preservation of the registration is only required to keep the subscription service active.

Which are the steps leading to the confirmation of my order?

Upon receipt of an order, we will automatically send a confirmation of receipt by e-mail, which will summarize all order details.

Then we will check the availability of the ordered product, and only after such verification, will inform you of the acceptance of the order and of the shipping of the product.

What if you are not able to process my order?

In the event that we are not able to process an order, we will notify you promptly, although we may take up to twenty (20) working days from the order to do so. In this case, we will refund the price and any shipping charges incurred, if any.

What is included in the prices mentioned on the site?

Prices are inclusive of VAT which will be detailed in the purchase invoice of the product, if issued.

Unless otherwise expressly indicated, the prices do not include shipping and delivery costs that, if charged to you, are listed in the final step of the order process before sending an order and are specified in the order confirmation sent by e-mail.

Can I make purchases if I am are underage?

We will not accept orders that come from individuals who have not reached the age of majority.

What is the difference between coffee beans, ground coffee and capsules?

Properly stored coffee beans, keep intact the aromas more than the ground coffee. Apart from this difference, the coffee is the same. The coffee beans can also be ground at the time and in the way that is most suitable for the type of extraction you want. The coffee in the capsules is ground and is kept under vacuum until the moment of extraction, and then is kept at best, but is not suitable for processes of extractions other than the one allowed by the machine with which the capsule is compatible.

Do you sell products close to the expiry date?

Perishable products are removed from sale two months before the expiration date.

Is merchandise covered by warranty?

All products, other than food, sold by Ernani are covered by the manufacturer’s standard warranty and 24-month warranty for defects of conformity under the Legislative Decree no. 24/2002 and S.M. and articles 130 and 132 of Legislative Decree no. 206/2005.

Are there limits to the exercise of the guarantee?

To use the warranty, you will need to keep the invoice, or, where existent, the transport document. You must also return the defective or damaged product in its original package in all its parts.

Can I return the merchandise that is affected by defects or is damaged in transit?

If your product is found to have manufacturing defects and / or has been damaged during transport, you can request a replacement of the same within the final deadline of ten (10) days of receipt by e-mail at the following address, or telephone call to Customer Service.

What happens in the event of product replacement?

In case of replacement of the product, the shipping costs for the return shall be borne by Ernani. Ernani will then replace the product with an identical or, in case of out of stock and with prior arrangement with the customer, with one of an equivalent value.

What is the Caffè Ernani policy with reference to the returns?

You can return the product purchased and obtain reimbursement of the amount actually paid for the purchase. The only expense is charged to you for the return shipment.

Where is the service available?

We ship our products in every city of Italy with the exception of these places as well as in these Countries. As to France, please note that we do not deliver in Corse.

How much is shipping?

In case of subscription with delivery in Italy, delivery is always included in the quoted price.

In the case of purchase from the catalog with delivery in Italy, you must add € 6.5 for purchases in the ordinary manner except that you do not do a purchase for amount greater than € 75.00. Above that amount the delivery is free.

In case of subscription with delivery outside Italy, any delivery costs € 15 or € 25 depending on the delivery country.

In case of purchase from the catalog with delivery outside Italy you need to add € 15 or € 25 (depending on the country where we shall make the delivery) for purchases in the ordinary manner except that you do not do a purchase for an amount greater than € 120 or € 15o on the basis of the same criteria. Above those amount delivery is free.

Can I change the shipping address once I’ve placed my order?

Once an order has been made it is no longer possible to change the shipping address. However, if the order has not yet been shipped, you can correct or change the address for delivery at any time: just enter the reserved area and access to their personal data panel.

When will you send out the goods that I purchased?

Ernani will ship the ordered products by courier to the address that you indicated approximately by 24 (twenty four) working hours from acceptance of the order.

How long does it take for the delivery?

Delivery usually takes place within 3/4 (three / four) working days. These terms approximate and may vary depending on the delivery location.

How can I track the shipment?

Simply visit the carrier’s website and enter the tracking number.

Who can I contact if there is a delay in delivery?

The courier is responsible for the delivery. Ernani is committed to take note of any failure or delay in delivery of products through the Customer Service and to help you to protect your rights.

Is shipping to PO boxes accepted?

We do not accept shipments to PO Boxes.

How do you ensure my privacy and security of payment information?

All information related to an order of payment are encrypted to ensure the maximum degree of safety. Also your personal information of Ernani are protected to prevent any kind of abuse.

How do I change my email and phone and my personal information?

If you changed your email or phone number, or you simply changed your personal information, go to the user page and update your data.

How do I update the information of delivery or billing?

Visit your user page and add or modify your information by associating a billing address to a delivery address. Always remember to integrate the basic information (such as address, zip code, etc.) with as many possible additional information (such as intercom, floor, staircase, etc.), in order to facilitate the food delivery process.

How do I recover my password?

If you’ve already subscribed to Ernani and you do not remember your password, go to “Forgot your password?” and enter your registration email. You will receive an email to reset your password.

How do I view the history of my orders?

By going to your user page, and accede to the relevant section. From here you can see a detailed overview of recent orders you have made.

How do I cancel my subscription to Ernani?

If you are a subscriber user who want to deactivate your subscription, please visit your user page, select your subscription and then click cancel.

What are the benefits dedicated to subscribers?

Subscription is designed to save you time and receive our coffe with the preferred frequency.

The subscription was born to facilitate the process of buying and this is th reason why it is important for us that the subscription is as flexible as possible.

There are therefore no particular constraints: through the user page, you can find the subscription management page where you can change the type of coffee and the reception frequency or cancel your subscription.

The subscription ensures you always have our coffee delivered at your home according to your preferences and needs. Only comfort and good coffee, with no worries. I will not be ever again without coffee Ernani.

Subscription is regulated by rules other than those applicable to ordinary purchases?

Yes, the subscription does not consist only in the delivery of goods, but also a service that has special rules that allow greater convenience for the customer.

Which is the duration of my subscription?

The subscription is automatically renewed from month to month, or every two weeks, depending on the type of  chosen subscription, unless you decide to cancel your subscription or that your fee is not successful charged for any reason. We therefore ask you to update your chosen payment method, if any change occurs.

When is the subscription fee charged?

The subscription fee will be charged only once a month, on the first  working day of the month if you’ve opted for a plan that provides for the delivery once a month or every second Monday, in case you have opted for a plan that provides for the delivery twice a month.

The prepaid subscription purchased at offline stores is identical to the one purchased in the online store?

No, the subscription purchased in physical stores is prepaid and does not grant the ability to modify the subscription itself. It also has a predetermined duration and can not be renewed. Only following the activation of a new subscription through the website, this new subscription becomes subject to the same subscription rules signed by the site.

Can I change my subscription?

Yes, you can change your subscription plan at any time, by switching to a different quality of coffee or to a higher or lower amount or a higher or lower frequency of delivery.

How do I change the type of coffee, the quality, weight or frequency of my subscription?

If you want to change the type of coffee, the quality, weight or frequency of delivery, simply enter the person of your page section on subscription management and make the changes you want. Your choices will apply to all future delivery, unless further changes.

Beware, the changes will take effect from the time period (monthly or biweekly) following the one in which you have made.

When will you deliver the products related to my subscription?

The delivery of subscription products takes place, according to the subscription plan chosen by the customer and therefore every two weeks or every month.

Delivery is for all customers who have a monthly subscription on the first working day of the month and every other Monday for those who have subscribed to a plan with a delivery every two weeks.

You can change frequency within the subscription management section in your personal area.

When the subscription changes take effect?

You can change your subscription plan at any time, but the changes will take effect as of the duration of the subscription period following the one in which you will have communicated the same to us.

Can I suspend my subscription?

No, you can only edit or cancel it.

What happens if I fail to renew my subscription?

In case of non-renewal or cancellation, the subscription will be canceled and you stop receiving the coffee starting from the subscription term period following the one in which the subscription will be deleted.

Can I stop my subscription at any time?

Yes, you can stop it at any time without additional risks and costs. The subscription request shall not determine any additional cost for you. You can continue to buy on Ernani through the ordinary shop, in fact the subscription deactivation does not imply the cancellation of your personal profile of Ernani. You can also sign up for a new subscription at any time.

What payment methods do you accept?

Caffè Ernani accepts payment via the systems listed below:

– Credit card (American Express, Visa or Mastercard); through the PayPal payment platform. The total amount of an order will be charged until the date of actual delivery of the products.

– PayPal: online payment system that allows any business or consumer with an email address to send and receive payments upon registration. The payment is made through the payment platform PayPal.

My payment does not go through. What should I do?

If you can not make a payment, try checking the following points.

Check credit limit of your credit card, the availability or expiration date

Very often it happens that the credit card is in close to its term and that is not accepted for this reason.

In the case of rechargeable credit cards, it is possible that the availability is not sufficient to complete the purchase.

Can you chance the invoice after it is issued?

No change in the invoice will be possible after the issuance thereof.

Will you retain my payment information?

We use third-party tools for processing payments and we never and in any way enter in contact with your payment data – such as those related to credit card – you provide.

If paying through PayPal, while purchasing, we store an identification code assigned to your PayPal account, which entitles us to an exclusive use linked to future purchases and will not be necessary again entering your login information to PayPal.

How do I use a promotional code?

To take advantage of discounts and / or offers related to promotional codes, you must enter the promotional code in the filed provided at the time of the validation of an order on the site.

Are promotional codes subject to limits?

Promotion codes proposed by Ernani are valid only for the products and during the period from time to time indicated.

Are promotional codes redeemable or cumulative?

How do I withdraw?

Before the expiry of 14 days from receipt of product you must send an explicit statement to that effect by e-mail at Customer Service will then contact the customer communicating the return number.

The return of the product must take place within 3 working days of receipt of the return number.

Reimbursement in case of withdrawal includes shipping charges originally paid?

May it happen that you reject the withdrawal?

In the case where the value of the products has suffered a decrease caused by a manipulation different from the one ordinarily required to verify the nature, characteristics and functioning of the products (for example: damaged products, not regularly packed or in a complete manner, or in which missing or have been damaged certain parts, such as parts, components, accessories, packaging materials, boxes, documents and / or other objects), Ernani will refund the purchase amount minus the value of this reduction. Why there is no VAT number field in the registration form?

If your billing infomation are relevant to a country other than Italy and you cannot find the VAT number field in the registration form, do not worry. How do I use the gift certificate?

For those who want to give a cift certificate.

Check that the gift certificate recipient receives our delivery in the territories in which we deliver our products and of foreign countries in which we deliver.
