Summer coffee has arrived, Ernani’s signature cold brew for summer 2025!
It is a coffee extracted with cold water and to be consumed iced: thirst-quenching, energetic and rich in taste.
All in a ready-to-drink 200ml can.
What is
It is a non-alcoholic beverage, consisting solely and only of natural Ethiopian Specialty coffee and water.
For its extraction, machines are used that work in the absence of oxygen, so as to avoid premature oxidation. Once packaged in the can, in fact, it has a shelf life of one year, without having to add any kind of preservatives.
Being then only coffee and water, it has no allergens present, nor added sugars.
While “Arabicaspecialty” means that it is a single-origin Arabica coffee, sourced from a plantation in Ethiopia, which after being evaluated by certified experts in the field, received a quality score of more than 80 points out of 100.
In other words, it indicates defect-free, intensely aromatic grains, as well as a set of environmental and social sustainability protocols applied on the plantation.
The beans specifically come from the Daye Bensa plantation, located in the Ethiopian Sidama region between 2100 and 2200m altitude. Cultivated in the shade of centuries-old trees, the beans are harvested by hand picking and then dried in the sun.
This gives good sweetness and roundness along with good aromatic complexity.
After that it is roasted to a medium-light level to enhance the sweeter notes and minimize bitterness.
“ColdBrew” on the other hand, as mentioned earlier, is a coffee brewing technique that uses only cold water, following the principle of infusion. The coarsely ground coffee then remains immersed in cold water for many hours until the desired result is obtained.
Taste and aromatic notes
Summer Coffee has good aromatic intensity and complexity.
The taste is naturally sweet and fresh.
While tasting you can detect light natural notes of wilted fruit, milk chocolate and exotic yellow-fleshed fruit.
Pair it with.
This is the piece de resistance: because it is a super versatile drink, from mixing to pairing with other foods and ways of serving.
Great both therefore to keep at home in the refrigerator at all times, but also in a cafeteria, cocktail bar, restaurant and pastry shop.
