What’s new at Torrefazione Ernani in Milan

Even in Corso Buenos Aires, 20 new things arrive every month, such as the possibility of tasting new espresso coffees, whether blends or single origins, and then being able to buy them for home.

Or all the new chocolates, honeys, jams, coffee tools, sweets or selected biscuits, to always let you taste something new.

But the most important current news are:

• Drowned in specialty coffee
• Summer coffee on ice
• Handmade tiramisu (also in the mini version)
• The new filter extractions, for incredible coffees both hot and cold

Ernani Events 2025

This year we have focused on three different events, which are very important for us to be able to meet you and let you taste the coffees we prepare for you!

RistorExpo

RistorExpo is the trade fair on the Horeca world of Lariofiere, Erba, in March.

This is a fundamental moment of contact for us with all our customers and potential future customers of bars, restaurants and pastry shops.

This is where we can meet, get to know each other better and let you taste our blends.

Strawoman

Strawoman is a non-competitive race in support of women and their daily battles, both cultural and social, but also of well-being and health.

It is a short but intense day, which reminds us how strong we are, especially when united.

We have a lot of fun at every stage and we bring you to know about the beautiful project of IWCA, the Alliance of Women in Coffee, of which we are partners with our Caffè delle Donne.

We already did the Milanese stage in May, but see you on October 12th in Monza!

International coffee day

The open day at the Ernani Roasting Laboratory will be back again this year on October 5th!
The formula will always be the same: free walk-in from 10:00 to 17:00 with lots of activities organized throughout the day, closely linked to the world of coffee.

Here are just a few spoilers: espresso and filter tasting, roasting sessions, Ernani Literary Prize award ceremony, taste Moody’s frappù and cinnamon rolls, Birrificio Rurale’s beers and Gin Rivo’s lake gins!

There will be many other new features and an even bigger organization than in previous years!

Collaborations

This year we went wild with collaborations, definitely stepping out of our comfort zone and demonstrating how versatile coffee is!

StoPuzzle

In January we showed how coffee is perfect to combine with a moment that we dedicate to ourselves, relaxing and stimulating, composing a Puzzle.
If the puzzle is also a modern work of art, it’s even better!

Another coffee stories

As every year, the collaboration with the publishing house continues, but it intensifies, with the Ernani Literary Prize, with the aim of finding new talents in Italian literature!

You still have time to register your unpublished work!

Women’s House

A very fresh collaboration, the first meeting will be a spoken breakfast, with our Caffè delle Donne, Saturday 19 July at 10:00.
I am sure that from this first meeting great projects will be born, thanks also to IWCA, the Alliance of Women in the World of Coffee.

IWCA – Travel

You may already know, but plantation trips have begun!

Thanks to IWCA Italia, the association that protects women along the entire coffee supply chain, we have created the new project: to take you from the cup to the origin, letting you touch the raw material and the real work in the fields, fully understanding the value of a bean and the long process to get to us.

I, Martina from Caffè Ernani, am one of the Guides and this year I took roasters and baristas to Brazil. Next year we will go to Rwanda, so sign up for the newsletter to not miss the opportunity to participate!

Birrificio Rurale

Last year we created Coffee Porter, a specialty coffee craft beer.

This year we won the first prize precisely for its uniqueness and goodness!

It was a beautiful collaboration!

Courses, Ernani Academy

From September 2025 the Green Coffee course will change its look and will be enriched with lots of new information!

As I always say, you never stop learning, and this obviously applies to us too!
After several more in-depth and specific courses on green coffee and after the training trips to the plantation, we want to bring you even more into the center of the technical discussion.
