Imagine waking up at dawn in the heart of the Brazilian hills, surrounded by endless rows of coffee plants. The air is fresh, the scent of ripe fruit fills your senses, and before you lies a day unlike any other.
It’s not just a vacation. It’s a journey into the soul of coffee.
Caffè Ernani creates a unique experience: a road trip through some of the best coffee plantations in Minas Gerais, Brazil, the most iconic region for specialty coffee.
An organized trip for those who truly love coffee.
And the best part is that we’ll take care of everything: just sign up and get ready to experience something unforgettable.
We’ll depart from Italy with a coordinator who will accompany us throughout the experience.
In Brazil, we’ll have a dedicated driver who will take us from one farm to the next, crossing spectacular landscapes of rolling mountains, red dirt roads, and seemingly endless emerald-green plantations.
Who can participate?
The group will be intentionally small and intimate: just five people. This will allow us to experience each moment at our own pace, create authentic relationships, and access places often closed to traditional tourism.
The trip is open to everyone:
- coffee professionals
- bartenders
- roasters
- coffee lovers
- curious people who want to discover what’s really behind a cup
You don’t need to be an expert. All you need is the desire to experience a real adventure.

What we will do?
We will visit the farms, meet the producers, and talk to the families who have been growing coffee for generations.
We’ll spend some nights right there, sleeping in their homes or in the plantation structures, sharing moments of daily life… we’ll have dinner together, listen to their stories, and understand what growing coffee really means.
Behind every bean lies a life of work, tradition, passion, and risk. Seeing it with your own eyes forever changes the way you look at a simple cup of coffee.
We then chose Minas Gerais because it is one of Brazil’s most fascinating regions. Some of the world’s most popular specialty coffees are produced here.
During the trip we will visit several plantations, each with its own history, terroir, and way of working.
We will see closely:
- the coffee harvest
- the manufacturing processes
- the fermentations
- drying in the patios
- the selection of the beans
- but above all we will taste coffee in the place where it is born
A tasting on the plantation is never just a tasting. It’s an experience that engages sight, smell, taste, and heart.
This journey will also be full of adventure, discovering an incredible country, meeting extraordinary people, and making new friends on the other side of the world.
I personally already took this trip in 2024 and 2025, and I have wonderful memories of it. I’m still in touch with everyone I met on both expeditions.
We share miles, laughter, unexpected events, and intense moments.
Many of the best moments will likely be the ones we can’t plan: a chat under the stars, a breakfast with the producers, a dirt road that leads to a new discovery.
Why leave?
Anyone who works in coffee or loves it knows this: to truly understand this world, you have to go back to its origins.
You have to see the plants.
Touch the ripe cherries.
Listen to those who dedicate their lives to growing them.
This journey was born from this very desire: to connect people to coffee in the most authentic way possible.
Not through books or videos, but through real experiences.
So, if you love coffee, this trip could become one of the best memories of your life.
We organize everything:
- purchase of return flight
- purchase comprehensive travel insurance
- coordinator leaving Italy
- local driver with suitable car
- visits to the plantations
- accommodation on farms and/or in hotels
- experiences and tastings
You just have to do one thing: sign up and join us.
