Description
Women’s Coffee is a single-origin from the Cachoeira farm in Brazil, grown, harvested and processed by a very special plantation that is part of an association: the IWCA, the International Women in Coffee Alliance.
Everywhere, more and more women are becoming an essential part of the manufacturing process, occupying positions of power and revolutionizing the world of coffee.
The IWCA is a global network that unites and supports the entrepreneurship of millions of women around the world, operating in more than 35 countries, including Italy, the first European chapter.
In this way we guarantee equal job opportunities and protect women throughout the supply chain, showing ourselves as an active part in achieving gender equality.
The Brazilian Santos Women’s Coffee grows at an altitude of about 1000 m above sea level.
It is harvested with great care through pickicng (manual harvesting) and processed with the washed method, then the peel and pulp are removed to insert only the beans into tanks of clean water to ferment. After that they are left to dry in the sun. This will bring greater freshness and aroma during the extraction phase.
It is a coffee with a complex and intriguing aroma, fully reflecting a feminine and sensual profile.
On the nose: intensely aromatic with hints of almond and cocoa
Taste: it presents sweet notes of almond and red fruits, balanced by a fresh and pleasant tartaric acidity, reminiscent of pink grapefruit, together with the soft bitterness of hints of bitter cocoa and nuts.
