For those who do not know, the Ernani Brand is actually a group of several companies:
- Ernani Produzione, in which raw coffee is roasted, checked and bagged and then resold to distributors, end consumers and bars. Especially in production we find Paolo and Andrea, the two roasters, and Martina, the brand’s marketing manager.
- Ernani Distribuzione, which buys the coffee already roasted and packaged for resale to bars, pastry shops, restaurants, ice cream parlors, hotels, etc. Here we always find Luca, sales manager, Claudia, administration manager, Renzo, technical support manager, Alessandro, warehouse delivery manager, Davide, sales agent, and Paolo, because in addition to being a roaster he is also a sales representative.
- Ernani Torrefazione, that is the historic coffee shop in Milan, Corso Buenos Aires, 20, the original place of roasting our coffee!

Luca is one of the founding partners of the Ernani brand, together with Claudia and Renzo. He opened the company in 1998 and hasn’t stopped since!

Claudia, is one of the brand’s founding partners and the sole director of Ernani Produzione.

Partner and Technical Assistance Manager of Ernani Distribution
Renzo is the third partner in Ernani Distribution, although he was already working in the company as an employee before it was taken over by them. In other words he knows the business, the company and the customers like the back of his hand.
It has been overhauling, adjusting, fixing, and bringing any type of coffee machine to new condition since 1991. The mechanics and today even the electronics are no secret. He knows the job better than anyone and over the years has specialized in repairing other coffee shop equipment as well.
Moreover, he represents precisely one of the brand’s strengths, namely in-house service, which allows for better management of customers’ equipment, stability and consistency over time, and above all, very fast response times!
Roaster and Purchasing Manager of Ernani Production, Trainer of Ernani Academy and Sales Representative of Ernani Distribution
Paolo is a key figure in the company, the first employee hired in Ernani Produzione, the very soul of the café, but not only.
Over the years, he has never once backed down from a challenge, which is why his professional persona has changed:
- Initially he performed “only” the task of Roaster. After months and months of training with one of the best Italian roasting trainers, several months of practice and testing, if today Caffè Ernani is recognized for its quality and an average level of roasting, it is thanks to him;
- A good roaster obviously also needs to know how to select the right raw coffees from around the world, so he or she does the purchasing;
- With the entry of Andrea, the second roaster, he left some of the roasting and stock management to him, devoting himself first:
- To become one of the two trainers of the Ernani Academy, following all the AICAF training and later also SCA;

How do you do, let me introduce myself: I’m Martina and I love coffee, but even more so communicating it!
Without making it too long, I take care of the image, that is: my work starts from the actual logo and where and how it is represented or placed, moving on to the creation of the products, analysis of our roasted coffees to understand them and know how to communicate them, spreading the knowledge of quality coffee, organizing and participating in all the meeting occasions such as workshops, fairs, events, parties, collaborations, live and whatever.

Roaster, Warehouse and RD Manager at Ernani Production
Andrea followed Paul closely and passionately, so much so that he became Ernani’s second roaster, sharing duties with his colleague.
However, he is not only and solely in charge of this, because he is also in charge of warehouse management, but especially testing!
To understand it better, he is the one who experiments every single week to improve products, coffee taste, roasting quality, production processes, machinery use, and much more. His is a continuous quest to high quality and creating strategies to achieve it.

Alessandro is the familiar face to Distribution customers, so bars and restaurants. In fact, he is the one who is in charge of the proper management of the warehouse, to always have any product that is useful to our customers, as well as the one who is in charge of making deliveries.
A key cog that allows the company to function and customers to be consistently satisfied with the services and products offered.
Commercial agent of Ernani Distribution
Davide is the last piece of the puzzle, not in importance, but only because chronologically he is the last one to join the group!
His role is clear and well-defined; he is the sales agent for Ernani Distribution, dealing with everything from finding potential new customers, preparing quotes, and managing the company’s existing customers.
Trained, passionate and a great connoisseur of the work behind the counter, he knows perfectly how to satisfy every customer and what the needs of bar owners and bartenders are.
